I remember when designing these feeling really excited that I had managed to combine my own textures with hand painted icons in Adobe illustrator. If you know that program you know it takes a lot of time to work things out and this was definitely a breakthrough moment in getting the program to do what I wanted. 6 years on I still use this technique and actually share it in my upcoming @domestika course which is due out soon. 🌻🌻🌻A few of you have asked me about the m 🌻🌻🌻A few of you have asked me about the music I used in my most recent video so I thought I'd write a post about the band. 🎵They are husband and wife duo, Mac and Laura, based on the North Coast of Cornwall called Our Atlantic Roots. They bring a blend of American and British alt folk mixing their voices and styles to create fresh and rich sounding melodies and harmonies. As soon as I heard them I knew I had to get in touch and ask to use their music in my vlogs.
